WINGLETS
The TARGA's vertical-design winglets can be installed on
the Silent 2 in place of the standard winglets. The
wingspan increases to 13.3 meters.

RETRACTABLE LANDING GEAR
All Silent 2 sailplanes can have the retractable
landing gear installed in place of the standard fixed gear
and fairing. The gear mechanism has limit switches
connected to an acoustic warning buzzer (or to customer's
flight computer) to warn the pilot of a "gear up" landing
condition.

PROTECTIVE COVERS
Wing and fuselage protective covers for the Silent 2 protect all exposed surfaces from inclement weather, UV radiation, moisture, dust, and bird droppings. The multi-piece covers join together with Velcro, and are held in place with elastic cords. When not in use, the covers store conveniently in two fabric bags.
SOLAR PANELS
Maintain a full charge of the engine battery.

WING SADDLE AND WHEEL
Clamp-on wing saddle for ground handling. Castering wheel.

TAIL DOLLY
For ground handling. Protects tail wheel or tail skid.
ONE-PERSON WING ASSEMBLY DOLLY
Permits sailplane rigging without the assistance of a second person.
ONE-PERSON WING ASSEMBLY ELECTRIC DOLLY WITH REMOTE CONTROL
Permits sailplane rigging without the assistance of a second person.
LARGE INSTRUMENT PANEL
Optional VHF radio, flight computer and electric variometer.
Basic flight intruments are included in the standard configuration.

SEAT PAN LINER AND SEAT-BACK CUSHION
Padded fabric liner with zippered removable back cushion.
