| Step
1
Remove the fuselage from the trailer and raise the engine
pylon. If applicable, raise the fuselage cradle and lower
the landing gear. Place the one-person wing dolly adjacent
to the fuselage so that it is ready to receive the right wing. |
| |
 |
Step
2
Extract the right wing from the trailer, place it in the
open cuff of the dolly and secure the holder latches. |
| |
 |
Step
3
Lift the wing spar off its trolley post and reposition
the spar back onto the post using the bushing hole furthest
from the root rib. |

|
 |
Step
4
Lift the wingtip and swing the wing and rig outboard until
45° to the fuselage. Lift the spar off the trolley post,
rotate the wing to horizontal, and insert the spar into the
fuselage opening. |
|
 |
Step
5
Retrieve the wing dolly and place it at the wingtip between
the tip wheel and end of the flaperon. Remove the one-person
rig. |
|
 |
Step
6
Repeat the same procedure for the left wing. Adjust the
one-person rig height as necessary. |
 |
 |
Step
7
Use the tapered alignment pin to align the spar bushings and
then insert the steel spar pins. Secure the spar pins with
the safety bolts and cap nuts. |
 |
 |
Step
8
Insert the winglets into the bushings at the wing tips and
tape the seams. |
 |
 |
Step
9
Remove the horizontal tailplane from the trailer ceiling and
slide it into position on the top of the vertical stabilizer. |
|
|
Step
10
Insert the hex-head bolt and secure it using the socket
wrench. Press down on the wrench to compress the spring
retainer.
|

|
 |
Step
11
Verify that the tabs of the spring retainer engage the flats
on the bolt’s hex head. Cover the hole with the screw-on
disc cap.
|
 |

|
Step
12
After checking the engine bay and the powerplant, install
and secure the center and upper access panels.
|

|
Step
13
If previously removed, adjust and secure the headrest
as necessary.
